さて、今日ようやく今年最初のサイクリグできました❗️
できたんですが、そのまま自転車さんにピットインです。昨年の9月ごろからフロントブレーキのキャリパー固定ボルトが閉まらなくて、今日持っていき、ネジ山を新たに作らないといけなくなり、預けてきました。
走行距離は13km💦
夏にブレーキフルード交換後から鳴きが止まらず、その調整や最終的にパッドを交換したんですが、その際にボルトを緩めて閉めてってやった時に気付きました。
これってお店のミスじゃないかな…ま、良いけど。
鳴きもパッド交換で鳴らなくなり、つまりパッドにフルードが染み込んでたってことですよね。その原因はポートのネジの締め込みが甘かったってことも判明してますし。
今回でお付き合いはお終いかなʅ（◞‿◟）ʃ
お店は栃木駅前にあるんですが、帰りは小山まで歩きました🚶12kmのフォトウォークです。被写体を探して帰りましたので、実はあまり苦になりませんでした😆
辛かったのは強風で砂まみれになったことですね😨

Well, I finally managed to get out for my first ride of the year today!
However, I ended up taking my bike straight to the shop. Since around last September, the mounting bolt for my front brake caliper wouldn't tighten properly. I finally brought it in today, and it turns out they need to re-tap the threads, so I had to leave it there.
Total distance covered: just 13km. 💦
Ever since I had the brake fluid changed last summer, the brakes wouldn't stop squealing. I tried adjusting them and eventually replaced the pads, which is when I noticed the issue with the bolt after repeatedly loosening and tightening it.
Honestly, I can't help but think this was the shop's mistake... but oh well.
The squealing stopped after the pad replacement, which means fluid must have seeped into the pads. It's also become clear that the cause was a loose bleed port screw.
I think this might be the end of my relationship with this shop. ʅ（◞‿◟）ʃ
The shop is right in front of Tochigi Station, but I decided to walk all the way back to Oyama—a 12km "photo walk." Since I was busy looking for things to photograph, the distance didn't really bother me! 😆
The only tough part was the strong wind, which left me covered in sand. 😨
