HEXANONレンズシミュレーション（HEXANON Lens Simulation）

本日1本目のポストでC35+MINOLTAフィルム（期限切れ）の記事を投稿しましたが、ふと、D200用のプリセットでHEXANONのレンズシミュレーションしてみようか、と思いつきました。

今までもライカのレンズシミュレーションをしてきたわけですが（ホンモノのユーザーさんごめんなさい、自己満足です💦）、HEXANONも名玉とか和製ズミクロンとか言われてるそうなので、やってみたくなりました😅

いつもの如くGeminiと二人三脚で。Geminiからは期限内フィルムの写真を参考に「突き抜けるような空の青」と「ハイライトの透明感」を基準に「ドライで抜けの良い」設定を提案してもらいました。

基本項目の除いた、カーブ・HSL・グレーディング・効果・ディテール・レンズ・プロファイルをプリセットとしました。

現像のワークフローは自動+プリセット。

結構気に入っています😊

プリセットを用意することで自分の世界観に統一感が出て良いかなって思います。

撮影も楽しいのですが、現像も楽しい♪

In my first post today, I shared some photos taken with a Konica C35 using expired Minolta film. That got me thinking—why not try creating a HEXANON lens simulation preset for my Nikon D200?

I’ve experimented with Leica lens simulations in the past (to all the real Leica owners out there: sorry, this is just for my own satisfaction! 💦). But since HEXANON lenses are so highly regarded—often called "legendary glass" or the "Japanese Summicron"—I couldn't resist giving it a shot. 😅

As usual, I worked on this hand-in-hand with Gemini. Based on reference photos of fresh (non-expired) film, Gemini suggested a "dry and crisp" look, focusing on "piercing blue skies" and "transparent highlights."

I’ve saved these settings as a preset, covering Tone Curves, HSL, Color Grading, Effects, Details, Optics, and Profiles (excluding basic adjustments).

My development workflow is: Auto + Preset.

Here are the results.

I’m actually quite happy with how they turned out! 😊

Having a preset like this is great because it helps give my work a consistent sense of style.

Shooting is fun, of course, but the development process is just as rewarding!
