新しい相棒とサイクリング（Cycling with My New Companion: The Nikon F）

早いもので26年の12分の1が終わりました。（終わります？）

自転車の修理が完了したと連絡があったので、引き取りに行きました。歩きだと2.5hかかりましたが、電車だと10分強です🤣

で、そのまま足を延ばしても良かったんですが、なんせ今日も朝から風が強い❗️今年に入って自転車の体が出来ていない軟弱な私は帰ることにしました😅

自転車だと40分。これくらいなら風が強くても頑張れます💪新しい相棒とちょっと短めのサイクリングでした。

Fに装填のフィルムを撮り終えたので、帰宅後モルト張り替えに着手。Fのモルトはミラー受けとファインダー外した部分の2箇所なのでとても楽ちんでした😊

張り替えた後シャッター音が静かに上品になりました。ガシャーンという漢らしい音は鳴りを潜めました。つまりモルトは全然なかったってことですね😅

It’s hard to believe that 1/12th of 2026 is already over (or almost over?).

I got word that my bike repairs were finished, so I went to pick it up. It would have taken 2.5 hours on foot, but it was just over 10 minutes by train! 🤣

I thought about going for a longer ride, but the wind has been so strong since this morning. Being a bit "soft" lately and not having my "cycling legs" under me yet this year, I decided to just head home. 😅

The ride back was 40 minutes. I can handle that much, even in high winds! It was a nice, short first ride with my new companion.

Since I finished the roll of film I had loaded in the F, I started replacing the light seals (mohlt) as soon as I got home. The F only needs seals in two spots—the mirror damper and the area under the viewfinder—so it was a breeze. 😊

After the replacement, the shutter sound became quiet and refined. That "clank" of a manly camera sound has faded away... which I guess means there were no light seals left at all! 😅
