お仕事は26日金曜日まで。
27日土曜日には東京に戻って参りました。
昨日はまだ金曜日の寒さと言うか日差しもほとんど戻らなかったですが、28日日曜日の今日は日差しが気持ち良かったですね😊
そう言う時は…「撮影散歩」ですね。
私、車を使った営業なんですが、東京の時は本当によく歩いてました（笑）車で営業するんですがよく歩いてました。
どう言うことかと言うと、ある場所のコインパーキングに止めて、歩ける範囲の得意先は一気に歩きで訪問するんです。
新宿駅周辺なんかは、それこそ一つ一つ移動してパーキングに停めて、ってやっていると時間もお金もどんどん使っちゃう。
だから新宿西口あたりのオフィスタワーの地下が上限有りのパーキングになってて、それを使ってました。新宿なのに一日中停めててMAX2000円。よくそんなとこ見つけたよ、自分🤣
で2024年から栃木県に異動になりましたが、2024年1年間の1日の平均歩数が2020年の東京時代より少ない。2020年と言えばコロナの年で、営業も出来ない期間があったりテレワークのみの月もあったり。そう言う年の平均歩数よりも少ないんです。今の生活はコロナで制限されてた時より動いてないんです🤣
不健康になるわ
だから休日は意識して自転車に乗り、サイクリング終わった後も撮影散歩と称してカメラ片手に歩き回っております。
そんな撮影散歩ですが、今日は葛飾の年の瀬の様子をご紹介します。
夜撮りに行きたいけど、高感度がすこぶるダメなD200くん。撮るならiPhoneかなぁ…😰
桜…は早すぎるよね、さすがに。逆に冬の冷たい空気感が伝わってくるかしら。
親水公園。夏は水遊びする子供達やファミリーで賑わいますが、さすがにね。水も張ってないし。
街角スナップ三連チャン。年の瀬を想像する写真が一枚もないですが😆

My work wrapped up on Friday the 26th.
I made it back to Tokyo on Saturday the 27th.
Yesterday, the lingering cold from Friday remained and there was hardly any sunlight, but today, Sunday the 28th, the sunshine felt wonderful. 😊
When the weather is like this... it’s time for a "Photo Walk."
In my line of work, I usually get around by car for sales, but back when I was based in Tokyo, I used to walk a ton! (lol) Even though it was car-based sales, I was always on foot.
What I mean is, I would park in a coin-operated lot and visit all the clients within walking distance in one go.
Around Shinjuku Station, for example, if you try to drive to every single spot and find parking each time, you’ll waste both time and money.That’s why I used to use an underground parking garage in one of the office towers near the West Exit that had a daily cap. Even though it was Shinjuku, the max rate was 2,000 yen for the whole day. I’m still impressed I found a spot like that! 🤣
I was transferred to Tochigi Prefecture starting in 2024, but my average daily step count for this past year has been lower than in 2020 when I was in Tokyo. 2020 was the year of COVID—there were periods when I couldn't do sales visits and months where it was strictly telework. And yet, my current step count is lower than it was then! My current lifestyle is less active than when I was under COVID restrictions. 🤣
Talk about unhealthy!
That’s why I make a conscious effort to go cycling on my days off, and after I'm done, I grab my camera for what I call a "Photo Walk" to get some extra steps in.
For today’s photo walk, I’d like to share some scenes of the year-end atmosphere here in Katsushika.
This is what the illuminations in the neighborhood park look like during the day.I’d love to go back and shoot them at night, but my Nikon D200 is notoriously bad with high ISO/low light. If I’m shooting at night, I might have to stick to my iPhone... 😰
Cherry blossoms... way too early for those, obviously. On the flip side, maybe this photo captures that crisp, cold winter air.
The Shinsui (Waterfront) Park. In the summer, it’s bustling with families and kids playing in the water, but not this time of year. There isn’t even any water in the fountains.
A quick trio of street snapshots. Actually, none of these really scream "year-end," do they? 😆
