My Golden Week is down to the last two days, including today. On days when I’m not traveling far, I enjoy doing some photo walks around my local neighborhood. 📸
Yesterday: 18,777 steps, 13.14 km.I explored an area I’d never walked before, even though I drive through it quite often in my van. 🚐
Today: 18,263 steps, 10.89 km.I headed to the famous Shibamata area. Wow, the crowds were absolutely incredible—people everywhere!
The third photo is of Iizuka Fuji Shrine. As the name suggests, it’s dedicated to the "Fuji cult." Speaking of Mt. Fuji, the enshrined deity is, of course, Konohanasakuya-hime. There was even a miniature "Mt. Fuji" (Fujizuka) behind the shrine, though climbing it was prohibited.
The fourth photo shows Shibamata Taishakuten. The approach to the temple was buzzing with energy. According to a tip from my senior, the dango (sweet dumplings) at "Yoshinoya" are the best!
