利根川自転車道終点（The End of the Tone River Cycling Road）

群馬県内に利根川自転車道終点と言うのがあるそうで行ってみた🚲️

群馬県は山に囲まれているので北上すると本格的な山登りしなくても微妙に上っているのだ。

私が住む前橋も赤城山の裾野に含まれるらしい。

だから南下するときは下りだけどね😏

終点についたとき距離的には20kmくらいだったのでまだ元気でした。

明日はここから伊香保温泉に向かってみようか…

I heard there’s a spot called the "Tone River Cycling Road End" right here in Gunma Prefecture, so I decided to go check it out 🚲️

Since Gunma is surrounded by mountains, heading north means you’re always on a subtle incline, even if you're not doing any actual mountain climbing.

Apparently, Maebashi—where I live—is technically part of the foothills of Mount Akagi.

Which means riding south is all downhill, though! 😏

When I reached the end of the trail, I had only clocked about 20km, so I still had plenty of energy left.

Maybe I’ll head towards Ikaho Onsen from here tomorrow…
